Well, we talked. The air has been cleared and the past week filed under 'Things to learn from and never repeat again ever ever ever'. With that in mind I hope to spend some, if not all, of this weekend making my friend understand how much they mean to me. Suddenly, things are looking up! (Plus, work weren't half bad today)
The Bad...
This better be an April Fool or we've lost the only man I know of on the web that has the capacity to be as surreal as me, if not more so. Twice I nearly got to meet him, twice other things got in the way and twice I said 'Aw bum!'
However, he was still one of the first three people to call me and check I was feeling OK within minutes of being made redundant in April, and we'd never spoken before! Nice guy in my book.
If this is truly the end, good luck and best wishes for your future Alan. I'll miss ya.
