My manager at work has to take maternity leave soon, because she's the size of a house and due to shoot offspring from her nether regions at any moment. So who do you think has applied to cover her in her absence. What? Yes you're dead right; ME!!!
Now I have finally been given a time and date for my interview, what appeared to be a logical and progressive step for me to take has degenerated into panic and fear and imagining how I'll feel if I don't get it. Worse still, I keep wondering what I'll do if I do get it! Eeeek! I want my Mummy.
Property News
PK is buying a house (Yes it's all go round here). After weeks of surveys and reports and quotes and haggling and being on the verge of being thrown out of our flat, finally we're moving in the general direction of exchanging contracts and moving. I can't wait to live in a house again. There's something so nice about being able to 'go upstairs' to bed. Furthermore if I am upstairs I can leave a window open without fear of a loony climbing in it, which is altogether possible where we are.
I will be providing PK financial support by accepting the position of 'the lodger' (as you may have concluded). This will be in addition to my role as 'keeper of PK's sanity during high pressure house-related situations' :o)
