A New Year

So this is 2005. It's not off to a very good start is it. Earthquakes and car crashes have led me to experience a week of hearing about colleagues and friends who, through one means or another, have lost loved ones in the last two weeks.

I like to remain optimistic though. Maybe, due to recent efficiency drives in the cosmos, all bad things that are due to occur in a year have been compacted into the first fortnight. This will, of course, mean that the rest of the year will be sunshine and roses.

Maybe not.

Annual Sweepstake

I hereby predict that it will be 12th February before I remember to put 05 at the end of dates, instead of 04. It gets worse every year.

A Queens Speech

Well it's been an interest three months for the Commonwealth. The Commonwealth of me that is.
