Nice Day For Blogging

Everyone else has gone out for a walk as it is a rather beautiful day outside, but I'm not feeling at all walky today. Far from it in fact. I'd just rather sit here with the tilt 'n' turn fully open and the sunlight streaming in merrily picking off cyborgs with a nanite infested sword.

I'm really getting into Deus Ex 2 again after about a three month break. It's kinda dark and moody and sinister. Just like me.

By the way, thank the gods that Jordan didn't win the Making Your Mind Up thing. I'm seen some freakish things at Eurovision, but I don't recall the UK ever entering one of them. We have our pride and traditions y'know (leans back in chair and twiddles moustache)

Rough update for the uninitiated:
  • Just turned 27 - Hoorah!!! (I think)
  • Still with PK having survived the big break up thing
  • Have found a local pub which, to be honest, deserves a blog of its own as it is mental
  • I am still Team Manager at work but it's so stressful I could quite happily chuck it in tomorrow (unless they give me money)
  • I'm currently focussed on expanding my circle of friends, utilising internet resources coupled with going out a bit more as I'm tired of the "I only know people at work" thing
  • According to the Channel 4 website, I'm 36% gay. I thought me sleeping with guys would have tipped that balance on that one?! (Yes I know it's an old test, but I'm just slow. OK?)

Now I'm off to 'do lunch', although seeing as my mate hasn't called me yet, something tells me it might have fallen through.

An Exhibit

Ladies and Gentleman of the British Jury. I offer to you Exhibit A. A man who since September has been so busy, disappearing up his own behind in work, that he has not had time to sit, and contemplate and blog.

A man, who through his own admission, has become at times disillusioned with the world and got a wee bit stressed. A man who has made friends and developed a social life beyond his boyfriend and work in London (fancy that, a minor miracle!)

This man is enjoying himself and enjoying his life. Yet at the same time this man feels a pang of loss. His online family. His brethen (and indeed sistren) writing out there in the dark and murky depths of the net.

To you all: I salute you, I miss you and in times of solitude and loneliness I still reach out for you for support and comfort. I love you all (you know who you are!).

(PS Ladies and Gentlemen of the British jury, I implore not to vote for a pregnant, heavy titted glamour model to represent you all in Europe. It is, after all a tad scary)
